About me

I’m Isabel, a yoga teacher based in Lagos, Algarve. My classes are practical, friendly, and focused on results: more mobility, more strength, and a calmer nervous system you can actually live in.

How I teach

I teach with structure and options: clear cues, intelligent sequencing, and space for you to adapt the practice to your body on that day. You’ll be guided towards better alignment, steadier breath, and strength that supports everyday life, not just shapes on the mat.

If you’re newer, we’ll build solid foundations without rushing. If you’re experienced, you’ll get a practice that challenges you while keeping it sustainable.

My story

I first found yoga in South Africa, through a close friend. At the time I didn’t think of it as anything profound. It was simply something that made me feel better in my body.

Later, living in Singapore, my practice deepened and I began teaching. That’s where yoga really became part of my life, not as a performance, but as a steady way to build strength, mobility, and a calmer mind.

Now I teach in Lagos, Algarve. I like sessions that are clear and practical, with good structure and plenty of options. Some people want to start from the basics. Others want to be challenged. Either way, the goal is the same: steady progress you can rely on.

Clear structure. Real options. Steady progress.

Training & influences

My teaching is shaped by strong foundations, anatomy, and practical sequencing. I’ve trained in Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin and Vinyasa. I keep coming back to the same thing: a practice that’s useful and sustainable.
