Joining in Lagos
Two studios. Two ways to join.
InLight: no online booking.
Arrive 10–15 minutes early and check in at reception.
Alchemy: reserve your spot online
via Alchemy’s timetable.
What to expect
Two ways to practise with me: studio classes in Lagos or private online 1:1.
Studio classes (in Lagos)
I teach in English and Portuguese, with clear cues, a steady pace, and options you can actually use. You can pause or rest at any time.
Different classes feel different:
Gentle / Stretch: slower and more supported
Hatha: steady and technique-led
Vinyasa / Flow: more continuous and energising
Ashtanga: a structured sequence that can feel more demanding
If you’re new, start with a gentler class and build up.
Private 1:1 online (personalised)
These sessions are tailored to you — your goals, your schedule, and what your body needs right now.
We’ll agree a focus (mobility, strength, stress, recovery, technique), and I’ll adapt the practice in real time. You don’t need fancy equipment — a mat is enough, and I’ll suggest simple props if they help.
You can expect:
A clear plan. We’ll structure the session around your goal for the day.
Real-time adjustment. I’ll fine-tune cues and options to what I see.
Progress between sessions (optional). Simple homework if you want to build consistency.
Ideal if you want dedicated one-to-one attention, privacy, and steady progress.
First class checklist
A few small things that make your first class smoother.
Studio classes (in Lagos)
What to wear: anything you can move in. Layers help in winter.
What to bring: water. A small towel if you like. Mats/props are usually available — bring your own mat if you prefer.
Arrive: if it’s your first time, aim for 10–15 minutes early so you’re not doing admin while everyone’s exhaling.
Injuries / limitations: tell me before class (even if it feels minor).
Food: try not to come straight from a heavy meal — light is fine.
During class: you can pause, rest, or take an easier option at any time.
Private 1:1 online (personalised)
Space: enough room for a mat + one arm’s length around you.
Tech: stable Wi-Fi and a camera angle where I can actually see what you’re doing (laptop beats phone on the floor).
Props: a mat is enough. If you have them: a belt, a cushion, a blanket, and two thick books (DIY blocks).
Plan: tell me your goal and any limitations — I’ll shape the session around that.
Between sessions (optional): I can give you a couple of simple “do this twice this week” practices to build progress.

No. You don’t need flexibility — you need a body and a bit of curiosity. I’ll cue clearly, give options, and help you find what works today.

Usually yes — just tell me before class (even if it feels minor). I’ll offer alternatives. If something needs more careful attention, I may suggest a private 1:1 session so we can personalise properly.
